As a mixed media artist, I work illustratively across a range of mediums such as wood, copper and canvas. My current work is predominantly pyrography and copper embossing. I find it difficult to restrict myself to a particular medium but having been raised on a farm playing feral amongst nature, there is a common link to flora and fauna which runs through everything that I create. I enjoy mark-making on my chosen materials to give life and personality to creatures and texture to plants and trees and the alchemy of adding heat to a surface to create tones and blooms.
